Water Problem

This picture shown here is the aftermath of a broken water line in an air conditioner condenser and water was coming through the ceiling leaving 2-3 inches of standing water as seen here with the water mark on the wall.  Does your commercial place of business have a Emergency Readiness Plan in place for when a emergency like this arises.  Our marketing representative at SERVPRO of Barron, Dunn, and Rusk Counties can help you get one into place by giving us a call at 715-643-7171.  Our crews in the pictured situation were able to mitigate the standing water throughout the business and the building had dehumidifiers set in place to properly dry out the place of business so they could return to business as usual in no time in their water emergency.

Rescue Mat Equipment

Here is just another piece of equipment that our SERVPRO of Barron, Dunn, and Rusk Counties has to help bring your home to its pre-existing condition.

This piece of equipment is called a rescue mat system/wood floor drying system. What it does is hooks up to a extraction motor and the mats pull the water out of the hardwood flooring. Usually it takes about 4-6 days to fully dry the hardwood. Once the wood floor is dry, there is usually a need for sanding and refinishing of the hardwood.

Water in Your Furnace Room

This picture shows a slight problem of a furnace under some water after a river near the home flooded.  If you know rising waters are on the rise have a qualified professional elevate the furnace, water heater and electric panel if susceptible to flooding.  Install "check valves" in sewer traps to prevent flood water from backing up into the drains of your home.  Seal walls in basements with waterproofing compounds to help avoid seepage.  If the water does rise turn off utilities at the main switches or valves, disconnect electrical appliances, do not touch electrical equipment if you are wet or standing in water, do not walk through moving water.  If you find yourself in a disaster as such don't hesitate to give us a call at SERVPRO of Barron, Dunn, and Rusk Counties at 715-643-7171.

Water Problem?

This picture was taken on an actual job.  This was the cause of loss on a water damage job.  As you can imagine this caused a large amount of water on the basement floor.  We at SERVPRO of Barron, Dunn, and Rusk Counties are here to help when a problem like this occurs.  The mitigation of the water was quick and repairs began.

Moisture Encounter Meter

This meter was used on site at a water damage to  detect or monitor moisture in wood, plaster, drywall block, brick, roofing, and most materials found in the building envelope.

One of the many tools SERVPRO of Barron, Dunn, and Rusk Counties have to better serve our customers.

Water Damaged Cabin

This is the evidence that extensive water damage is inside the home.  There was significant damage from a frozen pipe and not knowing how long the water was in the home.  So we worked a couple weeks drying out the structure and now we will begin the repairs for the customer.
